MADAGASCAR:ESCAPE 2 AFRICA Video Game

Madagascar‘s billed as a kid’s movie. Okay. As long as there’s not an age limit in the definition of “kid.”

The adventures continue in  Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, which is now in theaters. And, if that’s not enough fun, the adventures can continue to continue with the video game based on DreamWorks’ feature film. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Video Game.

In addition to teaching our children about manners, healthy eating and exercise, learning to build awareness and form habits that help protect the environment are also important and should be woven into multiple aspects of our kids’ lives … including play! Our parental priorities change over time and in an increasingly environmentally friendly society, raising responsible global citizens has become one of them.

Mom Central’s newest blog tour touches upon these issues as the characters in Activision’s Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Video Game go on a journey to save the African Savannah. The game provides safari adventures and includes all of the hilarious original characters Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, Melvin the Giraffe and others.

In addition to the twelve different levels of play, the game provides mini-games with quests that include swimming, driving, racing, soccer, safari photography and others.

The fame features over ten playable characters. In addition to the fab four, there’s the crafty penguins, King Julian, and Moto Moto the Hippo, the new character in the film.

What I love about this game is that it captures the charming comedy of the movie, and parents and kids are equally entertained. And, while they’re having fun, kids are learning important lessons about conservation woven throughout the video.
