It’s a CARNIVAL and the prizes are better than stuffed animals!

ferriswheelcarn20.jpgWriter . . . Interrupted is announcing its 20th Blog Carnival of Christian Writers to be held on Monday, May 26th, 2008. The blog carnival has been running for over a year and a half and features blog posts about the craft and call of Christian Writing. Past participants include authors, editors, literary agents, and aspiring writers.

We are looking to add at least 20 new participants to the carnival in celebration of the 20th carnival. Participants in the 20th carnival will be eligible to receive an awesome prize! Each participant will get one entry and referring participants will get an extra entry for each participating referral to the carnival. Winners will be selected at and notified by email and posted at Writer . . . Interrupted on Saturday, May 31, 2008.

OR A Writing Critique of a First Chapter (up to 10 pages).

 Submission Guidelines

Christian writers share in the craft of writing fiction, non-fiction, publishing, and anything else related to writing, including their faith. Post must address the craft, call, process, struggle, etc. of writing. Please email the coordinator a blurb about your post!

Example: YOUR NAME, at YOUR BLOG, SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR POST(with link) See past carnivals for more examples.

Those submissions that fail to meet the guidelines will not be considered for the carnival.

Submission deadline is noon on Saturday before the fourth Monday of the month. Carnival posts on the fourth Monday. If you would like to submit to the Carnival, email Carla Gade, our Carnival Coordinator, at
